The Team
The Value Creation team at Zinqular Group plays a critical role in driving operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and overall value enhancement across our private equity and real asset portfolios. The team works closely with investment professionals, portfolio company management teams, and external advisors to identify, develop, and implement value creation levers. We are a lean, highly impactful team comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds in management consulting, operations, finance, and industry expertise. We are passionate about driving tangible results and making a significant impact on the performance of our investments.
Role Overview
As Head of Value Creation – Private Equity & Real Assets, you will be tasked to lead and further develop our value creation capabilities. This is a high impact leadership role focused on post-investment transformation including responsible for defining and executing the value creation strategy across our portfolio of private equity investments and real asset holdings. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, proven experience in driving significant value enhancement, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. This role will be instrumental in maximizing returns for our investors and further strengthening Zinqular Group’s reputation as a leading private equity firm.
Reporting Relationships
- Reports to: Global Chief Investment Officer
- Direct Reports: Regional Operating Partners, Sectoral Value Creation Leads, Data & Performance Analysts
- Collaborates with: Investment Committee, Deal Teams, Portfolio Company CEOs & CFOs, and Sustainability Officers
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Value Creation Strategy: Define and lead the overall value creation strategy and framework for both private equity and real asset investments, aligning with the firm’s investment thesis and objectives.
- Portfolio Company/Asset Engagement: Proactively engage with portfolio company management teams and real asset operating partners to identify, assess, and prioritize value creation opportunities across areas such as operational efficiency, revenue growth, strategic repositioning, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Talent Development and Team Building: As the Value Creation team grows, provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Due Diligence Support: Collaborate with the investment teams during the due diligence process to assess the value creation potential of target investments and develop initial value creation plans.
- Value Creation Planning & Execution: Lead the development of detailed value creation plans for portfolio companies and real assets, working collaboratively with management teams to ensure buy-in and effective execution.
- Project Management & Oversight: Oversee and manage value creation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, and track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish robust performance monitoring frameworks to track the impact of value creation initiatives and provide regular updates to the investment teams and firm leadership.
- Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices: Develop and disseminate internal best practices and knowledge related to value creation across the firm.
- External Network & Advisor Management: Build and maintain a network of external advisors and consultants with specialized expertise to support value creation efforts.
- Resilience & Sustainability Integration: Ensure that resilience, sustainability and ESG considerations are integrated into value creation strategies where relevant.
- Real Asset Specific Responsibilities: For real assets, this will include optimizing operational performance, identifying development or repositioning opportunities, enhancing tenant relationships, and driving sustainability improvements to maximize asset value.
- Exit Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of exit strategies, ensuring that value creation initiatives are aligned with maximizing returns at the time of divestment

Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in private equity, management consulting, corporate transformation, operational leadership roles within private equity portfolio companies or real asset management firms, or a combination thereof.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful value creation strategies that have resulted in significant and measurable improvements in EBITDA, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Deep understanding of operational excellence methodologies, strategic planning frameworks, and financial analysis.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand complex business models and identify key value drivers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior management teams and board executives.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Experience working with international businesses and a global mindset is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience in specific sectors relevant to Zinqular Group’s investment focus (e.g., technology, industrials, healthcare, renewable energy, real estate) is desirable.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.
